With a small bus, one small truck and one MPV,
the groups reached the locations
a small village in Kab. Nganjuk,
nearby the border of Kab.Madiun
We reached there around noon
all villagers were gathered at village hall
mostly were very old, about 60-80 years old
we devided ourselves into 4 froups,
first to support free medication,
with 5 nursing student helped
3 doctors were checked about 120 patients
second groups were supporting free pharmaceutical service,
they were nurse, me and one pharmacy store owner
third, serve free major needs (fried oil, sugar, noodles, etc)
and the last, demonstrate waste re-creation
i joined, the pharmcy team
more than 50 kind of medications placed on the table
and most the volunter were having less knowledge in pharmacy
preparing medications were became harder
some of them placed on small & low table in front of me
i had to remember the place of each antibiotics, multivitamins, ointment etc
most prescriptions were consisted of 3 kind of drugs or multivitamin
prepared it fast, made a simple instructions,
put the instructions together with the drugs,
gave it to the patient & explained the dosage
i almost gave up after about 1 hours serving,
it was very exhausted
but luckily the other groups were finished earlier,
so they could helped my team til the last prescription
the whole activity finnaly finished within about 3 hours
and we’re back to the city in the afternoon..
